I got this for my Ford Ranger 2002 3.0L two wheel drive pickup. The front end has a simple torsion bar adjustment for maximum natural height (about 2.5 inches over stock). I’ve got the rear lifted via simple inexpensive 3 inch blocks. I was still able to retain standard shocks. This allowed me to run 33 X 12.50 Big O AT tires on eight inch rims.

I’ve got a Flow Master Delta 40 exhaust on the rear and a K&N Cold air Intake filter system on the front end, both of which provide maximum engine breathing and provide extra power and better fuel efficiency. The addition of this power programmer chip gave me a restoration of speedometer due to over-sized tires, a slight yet noticeable further improvement in gas mileage and better low end pull away torque power at the light. The chip also allowed me to improve the shift points on the transmission for more powerful and accurate shifting. This means faster jumps at the light and better highway pull away passing power.

The unit also has an LED worklight that could come in handy in a pinch. My only wish for this item would be that if it had a small lid on the top that allowed access to a tool area for screw drivers or pliers, fuses, spare keys, etc…
